Heritage Elementary Recognized on the ERP Honor Roll for Academic Excellence

March 21, 2025 by webmaster

We are proud to announce that Heritage Elementary has been named to the prestigious Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll for our outstanding academic achievement and student success. This honor places us among the top 12% of public schools in Texas!

For the tenth year, ERP has recognized schools that demonstrate consistently high academic performance, improvement over time, and efforts to close achievement gaps. Our school was selected based on student achievement data from the 2022-2024 academic years, without having to apply — our results spoke for themselves!

This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, and the entire school community. We are grateful for the ongoing support from our parents and look forward to continuing our commitment to academic excellence.

For more details, visit the ERP Honor Roll website at www.edresults.org/honor-roll.

Congratulations 2024-25 Heritage Teacher of the Year!

January 29, 2025 by cherylk

Congratulations to the 2024-2025 Heritage Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Christina Traeger!!! This is her 17th year teaching, all at Heritage. If you were lucky enough to have her as your teacher or ever taught with her, you know how amazing she is. She finds creative ways to teach each one of her students, always with the highest of expectations. Her colleagues respect her for her professionalism and because she is always willing to lend a hand. Thank you for your dedication to your students and to the Southside community Mrs. Traeger! (Here she is with some of her lucky 4th grade students.)
