90th Day of School – Dress in 90’s attire
Heritage will be celebrating it’s 90th day of school, students are welcome to dress in the 90′ attire on Monday, January 29, 2018.
January School Calendar

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a nice winter break! We will continue to work on improving our attendance, especially during the coldest months of the school year. We have several attendance incentive dates scheduled on the January calendar to encourage everyone to be in school. Please bring your children to school unless they are sick. The school day begins at 7:30 a.m. If the students are not in class at 7:30 a.m., they will be counted tardy. Please refrain from checking your children out early from school unless it is an emergency. The children need to remain in class until the end of the school day.
Wednesday, January 11th is the 80th day of school. The students can dress in 80’s attire!
Monday, January 15th is the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday for students and staff members.
Before the Thanksgiving break, we sent a flyer home explaining our next attendance/behavior incentive (Heritage PRIDE Event). The incentive is from November 27 to January 18. If the students meet the requirements, they will get to attend a winter wonderland formal dance, which will take place on January 19th at 1:20 p.m. The requirements are as follows: No behavior referrals, only 1 absence or no more than 2 tardies or 2 early checkouts.

¡Feliz año nuevo! ¡Espero que todos hayan tenido unas buenas vacaciones de invierno! Continuaremos trabajando para mejorar nuestra asistencia, especialmente durante los meses más fríos del año escolar. Tenemos varias fechas de incentivos de asistencia programadas en el calendario de enero para motivar a todos a estar en la escuela. Por favor traiga a sus hijos a la escuela a menos que estén enfermos. El día escolar comienza a las 7:30 a.m. Si los estudiantes no están en clase a las 7:30 a.m., se contarán tarde. Por favor absténgase de revisar a sus hijos temprano en la escuela a menos que sea una emergencia. Los niños deben permanecer en clase hasta el final del día escolar.
El miércoles, 11 de enero es el día 80 de la escuela. ¡Los estudiantes pueden vestirse con atuendos de los 80’s!
El lunes 15 de enero observamos el día de Martin Luther King, Jr. No habrá clases para los estudiantes.
Antes del receso de Acción de Gracias, enviamos un volante a casa explicando nuestro próximo incentivo de asistencia. El incentivo es del 27 de noviembre al 18 de enero. Si los estudiantes cumplen con el requisito, podrán asistir a un baile formal que será el 19 de enero a la 1:20 p.m. Los requisitos son los siguientes: Sin referencias de comportamiento, solo 1 ausencia o no más de 2 llegadas tarde o 2 salidas anticipadas.
