Texas Heritage Night a Huge Success!

Students and their families joined teachers, staff, and countless volunteers to celebrate Texas Public Schools week and our Texas Heritage.  Students showed off their art, research projects, singing, and dancing moves.  Everyone enjoyed dinner, music provided by the Southside High School Mariachi and Conjunto bands, games, animals, and horse rides.  

PRIDE Event – Tech & Game Day

Students are making Positive Behavior Choices between March 4 and March 28 in order to attend the third PRIDE Event – Tech & Game Day on March 29.  It’s great to be rewarded for things you are already doing, keep following those PRIDE Expectations students!

Dr. Seuss Week

Celebrate everything Dr. Seuss by joining in and wearing different Seuss inspired clothes.

Monday:  Cat in the Hat Day – wear a hat

Tuesday:  Fox in Socks Day – wear crazy socks

Wednesday:  Wacky Wednesday – wear backwards or inside out clothes

Thursday:  Oh the Places You’ll Go Day – wear college or career inspired attire

Friday:  Dress as your favorite Seuss character, enjoy a green egg & ham taco for breakfast and some green applesauce at lunch.  Students will receive a Dr. Seuss spirit stick today!
