I have been a Librarian/Learning Resource Media Specialist for 16 years. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1996. I earned my Masters Degree in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University and graduated in 2007.

I began my Librarian career at East Central ISD and worked with 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. In 2010, I came to Southside ISD. I have been at Gallardo ever since.

I love what I do and have been blessed enough to work in the profession that I have dreamed of as a child. I used to spend my summers reading and hanging out at the library. Sharing my love for reading will hopefully touch a child and help them to see how important reading is in order to create future leaders.
