A kind spirit with a hardworking and dedicated lattitude to provide the best and safest experiences for our cardinals. We are beyond appreciative of Nurse Leal. She is quick to support our students in any way possible. She is responsive to the needs of parents. Responds promptly to any questions or concerns they have, and our students know they can count on her for their medical needs. She provides a sense of calmness and relief in her ability to support parents and students as they navigate this Covid experience. She is action-oriented and seeks to solve problems as they come. She collaborated with staff regarding best decisions, and if she does not know the answer she will find it. We appreciate all Nurse Leal does for our students, families, and Gallardo staff.
Layla Navarro is a third grade student at Gallardo Elementary. She was nominated as the Cardinal VIP from her teacher, Mrs. Bedford. Layla is a very kind and supportive student that shows respect to everyone she comes in contact with. She is dependable and responsible and comes to class on time ready to learn. She always has a positive, “I Can,” attitude. Layla demonstrates her leadership abilities by participating as one of the cheerleaders on our campus cheer squad. I am so proud to be Layla’s third grade teacher, and I look forward to watching her grow!
