Freedom Fall Bash 2022
We sure do love our Freedom families and community! On October 21st we had our Freedom Fall Bash. We had a huge turnout for this family event. We had lots of activities such as carnival games, a haunted house, trunk or treat, food, facepaint, and more! Students were able to dress up in their costumes and have fun around the campus. We had over 15 community members come decorate their vehicles and pass out candy at our trunk-or-treat. They went all out and their decorations were amazing. It was a beautiful evening, great weather, and mostly, great company. Thank you to all who supported us and came out to our event. Can’t wait till next year!
National Unity Day 2022
October is National Anti-Bully Month. This month we had numerous activities to promote a bully free school. A school where we choose kindness. A school where we include everyone. Freedom students enjoyed dress up days to help remind us to be a buddy and not a bully. We had lessons taught by our counselor. Students used their creativity to promote bully prevention with our annual bully prevention poster contest. We had an Anti-Bully/Drug Free Walk-a-thon where as a group we discussed the importance of helping to stop bullying, and how it takes all of us to make a difference. On October 19th we celebrated National Unity Day as a district. On this day we encouraged everyone to wear orange. To stand out and stand up against bullying. To be a friend, include others, and accept differences. Freedom wore orange proudly on this day. We are united together to make our world better!
