Freedom 5th Grader Wins Art Award
We are so proud of 5th grader Luis Rivas. He was one of 11 finalists for the Texas Cavaliers Art Contest. He represented area District 3. You will be able to see his artwork on the side of VIA buses and at Methodist Children’s Hospital. As a finalist Freedom received $5000 for our art program. What an honor for Luis!

The Great San Antonio Reading Challenge Week of 3.2.26 Super Readers
I am super proud to Announce and Congratulate Naomi R. in Ms. Johnson’s class. She won 3rd place in the Top 10 Readers of the Week! Way to go and keep reading! Spring Break is a great time to enjoy a good book and get plenty of minutes. The schools that make it to the Sweet 16 will be announced on March 20th. Enjoy your Spring Break!

Freedom 3rd Graders
Congratulations to all our 3rd Graders!! They made it to the “Titan 25″‘ in The Great S.A. Reading Challenge!!! The next round in the reading challenge is the “Sweet 16”. Please continue to support your student to read and log their minutes and turn them into their teacher. The “Sweet 16” winners will be announced on March 20th. Don’t forget to remind your student to read during Spring Break!
