To request your SISD service record, please log on to TalentEd Records, choose blank docs at the top of the page, select Request for Service Record, complete the form and submit.
Click here Former Employee Service Record, complete all information requested and submit as instructed.
All forms will be processed on a first come first served basis. For records of Former Employees extra time may be required due to files being kept off site.
Thank you for your interest in one of the most difficult jobs in education--substitute teaching. Very often, children will rely on the skills and abilities of substitute teachers for over one full year of instruction between kindergarten and twelfth grade. SISD recognizes the contributions made by its substitute teachers and supports their efforts toward maintaining continuity of instruction in the absence of the full time teachers. To become a substitute teacher:

Your application must be completed online. Application will be posted on the Job Posting Page on an as needed basis.

You will be contacted by the Human Resources office via email once application has cleared and been processed.

Attend required Substitute Orientation Training.

Complete on boarding process in Human Resources.
2023 - 2024 Rates of Pay
Teacher - Non Degreed Sub:

Daily Rate: $85/day
Teacher - Degreed Sub:

Daily Rate: $110/day
Teacher - Certified Sub:

Prior to submitting a resignation online, an employee should notify their direct supervisor, then:

Log in to TalentEd Records.

Go to icon for Available Forms, click the form Employee Notice of Voluntary Resignation or Retirement.

Complete required information including supervisor, last day of work and reason for leaving, click Save Final, sign document and click Submit.

You will be assigned an Exit Survey in TalentEd Records which will give detailed instructions for exiting the District.

On your last work day, you will bring a completed Clearance Sheet (assigned via the Exit Survey) to the HR department along with your parking permit, ID badge and key card (if applicable) for final clearance.

- Note: Students should not contact the campus or the District office.
- Have the student complete an application for Field Placements & Student Teachers on the SISD Job Posting Page.
- Wait for HR approval and placement information from Ms. Salinas.

- Have the student complete an application for Field Placements & Student Teachers on the SISD Job Posting Page.
