Tax Rate
A school district's tax rate is comprised of two parts - Maintenance & Operations (M&O), and Interest & Sinking Tax Rate (I&S). M&O may be used for salaries, facility repairs and maintenance, bus repairs, school supplies, and utilities. I&S revenues may be used for new building construction, existing building renovations, and land. The current rate for 2025 is $0.7517 for M&O and $.3288 for I&S.
