Curriculum & Instruction Department is to align curriculum vertically and horizontally to insure articulation across the grade levels and contents areas. Provide quality professional development based on student achievement data and the district and campus comprehensive needs assessments. Provide instructional support to teachers, administrators, and the community.
Monitor all state and federal compliance issues as they apply to the Academic Educational Indicator System (AEIS), Performance-Based Monitoring & Analysis System (PBMAS), Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), Annual Measurable Achievements Objectives (AMAO), and No Child Left Behind (NCLB). Manage and monitor the implementation of all federal and state grant programs.
