This weekend the Lady Cardinal Volleyball Team finished 3rd in the Silver Bracket of the SAISD Tournament. Newcomer Amber Martinez received All-Tournament honors. The Lady Cardinals are currently 7-8 and are away at Southwest on Tuesday.

The Thursday, June 18, Summer Movie Nights showing of "Night at the Museum" has been cancelled due to unpredictable weather. Weather-permitting, the Summer Movie Nights series will resume on June 25 at Southside High School Stadium with the showing of "Paddington," at 7:30 p.m. Stay safe and dry. Southside ISD students were honored at the first annual STEAM celebration and Globey Awards. Globaloria game design students received Globey awards for excellence in game design. STEAM programs from Losoya, Matthey and the High School showcased projects such as robotics, electric houses, and artwork.
