The Communications Department objectives and priorities are to keep the community informed and engaged while promoting the mission, the successes and the challenges of Southside ISD. The Communications Department is responsible of community relations, media relations to include the Public Information Officer, crisis communications, website content, and special events.
Southside ISD has a variety of publications such as the district newsletter The Cardinal, Cardinals in the News, The Southside ISD Messenger, and Did You Know flyer.
