- Academics:

Southside ISD Academic Instructional Packet Distribution

Pick Materials CURBSIDE ONLY

- PreK - 8th Grade - packets available at Heritage Elem. & Southside ACES Bldg.
- 9th grade - 12th - packets available at SHS parent pick up area
On Monday, April 6th students should bring packets back with them.

Should the Public health Emergency Continue and the need to stay at home continues, Students will be able to Drop off Packet #1 and Pickup Packet #2 April 7th at Meal Pick-Up

- The teams are working around the clock to prep for online and distance learning options. As soon as they are ready to report something we will let you know.
- We know internet access and wifi can be a challenge. SISD is looking at possible solutions that include sending buses into the neighborhoods to help serve as hotspots, mini-towers and other options are being investigated by multiple departments.
- Texas Education Agency waived STARR Test.
- Schools are now closed through April 3, 2020.
- The SISD Police Department is staffed and helping out all over the district daily.
- Child Nutrition works continue to step up to help with meal distribution Monday - Friday. Meals are prepared daily and handed out at noon.
- Cancelations:
- The March 19th SISD Board Meeting has been canceled.
- ALL UIL events have been Canceled or Postponed. Click here for a list of Cancelations.
- All Atheltic and Extracurricular Practices at SISD have been canceled.
- All student trips have been canceled.
While schools are closed All Southside ISD Employees will continue to get paid.
