Senior citizens who live in the Southside ISD can pick up a free turkey on Tuesday, November 19 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Anthony Hall, 14632 Kilowatt Rd., in Elmendorf. The Southside ISD Education Foundation (SEF) kicks off its annual fundraising campaign this October 2019. The start of the fiscal year for SEF means the start of an aggressive campaign to raise $20,000 in student scholarships and $20,000 in teacher Innovation Grants to be awarded in the year 2020.

In an effort to be proactive Southside ISD will start using the software NaviGate Prepared. It is a web-based alert system that sends out Lockdown, Lockout, Hold and Shelter alerts via a cell phone application, mobile devices, and computers.
