We are excited to announce that, in collaboration with the University of Incarnate Word and Healing the Children, we will be hosting a fun science workshop focused on Skin Health on Saturday, October 17th at Pearce Elementary from 8am to 12:30pm!
This free interactive workshop will teach students about skin health through fun STEAM activities that encourage sun, bug, and plant safety. Activities include UV Beads, Play-Doh “layers of the skin” demonstration, and more.
This workshop is open to all elementary students in our district. While the class is catered to 8-to-10-year-old students 6-years-old and older are welcome to attend.
