Continuing their mission to provide support to our Cardinals, the Texas Grandparents Raising Grandkids will be visiting different campuses this semester to provide resources to families who are raising their loved ones, such as grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc.
To start the year off, they will be at Gallardo Elementary on September 22nd from 10am to 12pm, where they will be providing tips on navigating the school system, understanding educational rights, communicating with staff, and more.
Each month will touch on a different topic, with these meetings being open to anyone in the district to come and get help, whether it’s needing advice on your current situation or wanting to connect with others; the representative will be here to assist and connect you to resources that can benefit your family.
The group will be available to both English and Spanish speakers.
