We are proud to share that Southside High School was one of only four educational institutions in the Alamo area selected to receive a Jobs and Education for Texans (#JET) grant!
The $339,750 grant was presented by Texas Workforce Commission Commissioner Representing the Public, Brent Connett, and will help support career-focused opportunities for our students.
The grant will help provide the equipment and resources needed to prepare our students for in-demand careers while building the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed beyond high school.
This investment is more than just funding—it’s an investment in our students, their futures, and the workforce of tomorrow.
