Join us at your child’s campus for an engaging afternoon focused on supporting your student’s transition from elementary to middle school.
Our 5th graders will soon visit their future middle school campuses to get a glimpse of what’s ahead. Now it’s your turn to prepare for this exciting new chapter!
Guest speaker, Mavy Renn from Region 20, will share practical insights on what to expect as your child enters middle school.
Topics will include:

- Managing communication with multiple teachers
- Understanding increased academic expectations
- Ways to support your child both academically and emotionally during this transition.
As a bonus, attendees will receive a summer workbook for their rising 6th grader to help keep skills sharp and prevent the “summer slide.” Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you’re unable to attend at your child’s campus, you’re welcome to join a session at another location. All sessions are open to families of 5th-grade students.

Due to heavy rain, Freedom’s Workshop has been rescheduled to May 8th at 11am to 12pm, with the End-of-Year Feedback meeting to follow from 12pm to 12:30pm.
