On Saturday, February 28, Southside High School’s UIL Academic Team competed at Canyon High School in New Braunfels in a highly competitive invitational meet. Facing 31 other schools, our students represented Southside with pride, determination, and excellence.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication our students and coaches demonstrated—not only during the competition, but throughout their preparation leading up to the event. Their hard work paid off, as Southside earned placements in numerous events against some of the area’s toughest competitors.
A special congratulations goes to Ms. Donna Martinez and her outstanding journalism team for capturing First Place Overall in Journalism! This remarkable achievement reflects their commitment, talent, and teamwork.
