Southside ISD, in partnership with University Health, proudly celebrated the grand reopening of the Susan Hall Health Center on Thursday, December 4th, with a well-attended ribbon-cutting ceremony. Families, staff, community members, and local leaders gathered to recognize an important milestone in expanding access to quality health care in the Southside community.
The newly reopened clinic now offers adult and pediatric primary care services, bringing convenient and comprehensive health care closer to home for Southside families. District and University Health leaders spoke about the importance of the partnership, emphasizing the shared commitment to student and community wellness.
Superintendent Rolando Ramirez highlighted how the clinic will support the district’s mission to remove barriers to learning by ensuring families have access to essential health services. University Health leadership echoed the importance of strengthening community-based care and meeting families where they are.
After the remarks, guests helped count down to the official ribbon cutting, marking the clinic’s opening to the public. Attendees were also able to tour the space and learn more about the services available.
The Susan Hall Health Center is now open and accepting appointments.
