Through a grant-funded partnership with the University of the Incarnate Word, Southside ISD has opened a brand-new Sensory Room and Motor Lab—innovative spaces designed to nurture both mind and body. These environments help students reduce stress, improve focus, build coordination, and strengthen emotional regulation—skills that support both mental health and academic success. Together, they represent Southside ISD’s unwavering commitment to supporting our students.
