Southside High School JROTC Celebrates Air Force 78th Anniversary

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Southside High School’s JROTC cadets celebrated the 78th anniversary of the United States Air Force. Since its founding in 1947, the Air Force has grown into a global leader in air, space, and cyberspace superiority. Reflecting that legacy, our JROTC program helps shape tomorrow’s leaders—instilling discipline, promoting physical fitness, and building citizens of strong character.
