(San Antonio, TX) – Several students in the Southside High School Audio Visual Class got a fun surprise this week, thanks to a donation from HOLT Group. They received several refurbished Apple laptops to help with video production and more. HOLT Group is one of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealers. The company worked with the Southside ISD Education Foundation to secure computers worth more than 11 thousand dollars. Southside ISD hopes to recognize the Foundation and the company at the next board meeting. It is partnerships like that that really can make a difference in education. One of the board of directors for the Southside ISD Education Foundation is Ryan Marsh. He works for HOLT Group as the Sr. Manager of IT Operations and hopes to continue to nurture the relationship so that more donations like this can make their way to Cardinal Nation.
Angel Rymers, Elijah Madel, Dolly Hernandez are in the SHS audio and visual course. They plan to start using these computers as soon as possible.
