An estimated 100 seventh-grade students at Losoya Middle School are on track to earn certification as Bridges to Care Teen Mental Health Champions, a program led by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Greater San Antonio Chapter.

As part of this initiative, students successfully completed five essential mental health and wellness sessions, covering:

  • Mindfulness

  • Healthy Boundaries

  • Healthy Relationships

  • Cyber Safety

  • Navigating Life’s Pressures

This program equips students with the tools to support their own mental well-being and promote a culture of care and empathy among their peers. We’re proud of our students for taking this important step in becoming mental health advocates and leaders within our school community.
