The 2025 Girls Empowerment Summit is a free event in its sixth year, created to educate, uplift, and inspire middle and high school girls. This year’s theme is highlighting Women in Public Safety, celebrating women breaking barriers in law enforcement, Fire, EMS, and other non-traditional career paths.
The girls will spend the day exploring real-world career opportunities, building leadership skills, and gaining the confidence to shape their future through engaging breakout sessions, hands-on activities, and talks with mentors and leaders.
The 2025 Girls Empowerment Summit will happen on Friday, May 30, from 8 am – 3:30 pm and is hosted at the Henry B. Convention Center.
The next day, Saturday, May 31st, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the girls also have the opportunity to join day camp HeroLikeHer, hosted at the SAFD Fire Training Academy. Here, the girls can get an inside look at the lives of women who work at the San Antonio Fire Department.
A signed waiver is required to be turned in on the day of the event. You can print the following waiver, or it will also be available upon check-in at the convention.
