(San Antonio, TX) –
Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, the Southside ISD Education Foundation (SEF) raised more than $40,145 gross and after expenses, approximately $30,145.00. Combined with the employee contribution campaign, bingo night, and private donations, we have raised just under $65,000.
We are grateful to the Southside ISD Board of Trustees and the SEF Board of Directors.
The Canyon Spring Golf Course event hosted about 76 golfers and more than 20 volunteers. It was a sunny day with happy supporters ready to raise money for Southside ISD student scholarships and teacher grants. SEF is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the students and staff at SISD. Since 2008, the organization has raised more than 1.5 million dollars. SEF’s goal is $75,000 this year to get the most back to our students and teachers.
They just need to raise $10K more. The board promises to work hard to reach that goal in the next couple of months.
