On September 26th, students at Heritage Elementary participated in the HEB-sponsored ‘Read 3 Big Texas Read-In’ to celebrate National Literacy Month. This exciting event encouraged students to immerse themselves in the joy of reading, whether through traditional books or digital titles on their Chromebooks. As they delved into a variety of genres and stories, students not only celebrated their love for literature but also developed essential literacy skills. The day was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and a shared passion for reading, highlighting the importance of literacy in our community.
