Menchaca Early Childhood Center campus nurse Heather Siebert, R.N. is leading an effort to expose the kindergarten class to CPR. “In emergencies, people can freeze up. By teaching them about CPR, we’re empowering students. Knowledge, as we know, is power,” Siebert said. The San Antonio Express-News, KSAT 12 News, and News 4 San Antonio/Fox 29 were all interested in reporting on Southside’s children learning the basics of this vital life-saving technique.
