Over the weekend members of the Southside High School Mighty Cardinal band performed at Steele High School in UIL solo & ensemble contest. We are proud to report that 40 students earned medals for 1st division ratings. Congratulations to all and a special congratulations to our sax quartet (4 students), percussion ensemble (8 students), and soloists Andrew Tapia, Emma Sanchez, and Heaven Salazar for advancing to state S&E!
State contest will take place at UT Austin over Memorial Day weekend in May, 2023.
