The Southside High School Red Jacket dancers have been working tirelessly in preparation for the Crowd Pleasers Dance Contest that took place Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at Seguin High School. The Red Jackets presented a technically challenging, hard hitting hip-hop routine and were recognized for having a high score of 92 out of 100. The Red Jackets received a plaque for having a “Platinum” score. This is pretty exceptional considering not a single person on the team has competed before. The Red Jackets have one more competition on Saturday, March 4th. The team will be taking the judges corrections and applying them in hopes of scoring even better next time.
