GEAR UP at Southside ISD started an overnight trip to Houston, TX with the first stop of the day at the University of Houston. The group got rained on a little, but it didn’t stop them from touring the campus. The 2nd stop of the day was at Rice University and what a beautiful campus it was! The students really loved and enjoyed visiting Rice and was one on their favorites. Day 2 started off with The Port of Houston Boat Tour which was a truly awesome experience and beautiful to see. The Houston Overnight Trip came to an end and they saved the best for last…NASA! There was so much to see and learn while exploring NASA. Another great experience.
