Just in time for the holidays, Southside ISD parents are eligible to receive $391 per child under a fifth round of federal Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) food benefits. The program only benefits students who are certified to receive free or reduced priced meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The good news for Southside ISD families, all students in the district qualify to receive free or reduced meals under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. District parents, who previously received a P-EBT card or Lone Star card can check to see if the benefits have been applied. The funds can be used to pay for groceries.
