If you suffer from knee or hip pain, the University of the Incarnate Word’s Amigos En Medicinia is offering a free orthopedic and physical therapy evaluation to 20 people. Amigos En Medicina, a program within the UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine, is a free joint pain check-up to establish a free clinic for the Southside community and build trust between Southside patients and clinicians. To qualify as a patient you must be/have:
- age 50 or older
- daily hip or knee pain
- walk independently or with a cane or wlker
- live within the Southside ISD boundary
