In the last week of school about 20 Southside High School ROTC were out helping one of their own teachers who recently suffered a tragedy. On April 3rd, a fire destroyed the home of Southside High School teacher John Davis. He and his wife lost all of their possessions. Davis also suffered second and third degree burns in the fire. Now, in an effort to help him rebuild, the cadets filled up a dumpster with debris from the fire. The cleanup effort helps Davis begin the process to rebuild his home on the property.
