(San Antonio, TX) – SHS Senior Adriana Arellano wins the @wegopublic art contest sponsored by the Texas Cavilers and the Emily Ann Foundation. Winners get their art displayed on a Via bus for nine months! Adriana and her mom were beaming with Southside pride at the unveiling Saturday. The event took place at the Alamo Convention parking lot. She was selected out of more than 80 submissions. Adrian’s art called Butterfly will also be displayed at 6 bus stops that feature shelters. She says her art is a symbol of love, beauty, and kindness.
