Teachers in the Southside ISD are getting ready to test students for the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) tests. Teachers spent President’s Day at all eight campuses running through reading, English, math, special programs, science, and all other subjects that will be covered during the test. In addition to preparing for the test, 6th and 7th grade teachers also attended a session titled, “After the STAAR,” preparing for the next grade level. Southside ISD is committed to helping our students reach their maximum potential.
