Santa Claus continued his journey across Southside ISD. Today, he visited all 800 boys and girls at Menchaca Early Childhood Center. Thanks to Santa’s elves and the kind hearts of philanthropists Glenn and Kym Rapier Verette, all of the children received toys and school supplies. Students in grade Pre-K3, three year-old students, were the first to greet Santa Claus. Before their big meeting, students sang Christmas songs and then lined up to see Saint Nick. Students were able to see Santa dancing before they went up on stage to greet him. Santa Claus said he’s very proud of the boys and girls at Southside ISD because they are good students who do their homework. Click here to see pictures of today’s event.
