Vaccine Clinic for Back-to-School July 15

Southside ISD is holding a free vaccine clinic for back-to-school on Thursday, July 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Southside High School, 19190 U.S. Highway 281 South. Pfizer COVID vaccines are available for everyone 12 years of age and older. Additionally, state-mandated back-to-school shots are available to all students who need them including students entering pre-K, kindergarten students who missed their shots in 2020, and students entering 7th grade. Please bring vaccine records. The Centers for Disease Control recommends everyone eligible get the COVID vaccine for protection against the extremely dangerous coronavirus. Pediatric cardiologist Dr. Heather Riebel of the District’s Susan Hall Community Health Clinic said, “It is best to get the COVID vaccine than to risk serious complications that arise from the coronavirus.” Additionally, Community Labs will offer FREE COVID tests for everyone.
