Cardinal Spotlight Week of January 3: Pearce Elementary School

Pearce 5th grade teacher, Andrea Arcaute, has a kind spirit, leads our GT program for grades 1st-5th, and loves to incorporate technology into her lessons. She is a huge fan of the Astros, energy drinks, and UTSA. She is an even bigger fan of her students! She does her best to meet her students’ needs by incorporating their interests and likes, participating in opportunities to tutor, and getting to know them individually. Thank you, Miss Arcaute, for always willing to learn and try something new, keeping great communication with your students and their families, and for your continued commitment to Pearce’s success. You are a rock star!

Pearce 4th grade student, Mateo Lopez, keeps consistency on our campus as he always reminds students and staff about the Cardinal Way. He is a fan of recess, using technology, and greeting everyone in the morning. Mateo has fantastic attendance and shares his kindness with everyone around him. He continues to grow with us at Pearce and, like many, has taken the new learning challenges by the horns. We thank you, Mateo (and mom and dad), for loving us at Pearce and supporting all that we do. You are AWESOME!
