COPS/METRO Partners with Southside ISD

COPS Metro

COPS/METRO, Communities Organized for Public Service, a grassroots community activist group, is joining forces with the Southside Independent School District to be a positive force to boost academics and community engagement. The District and COPS/METRO made the announcement during a news conference on December 3, 2020.

Superintendent Mr. Rolando Ramirez said, “We are a team and we believe in the triangle of students, parents, and the District working together.”

COPS/METRO parent-organizer Estela Sanchez said she’s looking forward to working with the District as it empowers parents and offers parents more opportunities.

The District and COPS/METRO will hold monthly meetings with the objective of advancing academics and parent initiatives.
