Ms. Ortiz is a pre-kindergarten teacher who engages each of her students, sings and dances with them, and goes above and beyond to help her students learn. She is also the first to help colleagues, help students out at dismissal, and just step up where needed. She is one of the first to arrive every morning and always with blessings for others and a smile. Ms. Ortiz also builds such great relationships with her students that she knows their favorites, interests, and immediately.
Ivan is a shy and friendly boy who loves to play soccer. He loves school and does not like to be absent. He loves to be around his family.
