Mrs. Pesina is the cardinal spotlight of the week for Matthey Middle School. Mrs. Pesina has held several positions at Southside ISD but last year she was hired as the GEAR UP Clerk for SISD. Mrs. Pesina has been instrumental in ensuring that all documentation is completed for GEAR UP. She definitely has Cardinal PRIDE!
Curtis Shattuck is the Cardinal Spotlight for the week. Curtis is a wonderful student. He is a 6th grader at Matthey Middle School. He is always eager and excited to learn. He communicates well with students and helps in any way he can with his peers. Curtis also never hesitates to volunteer to read. He has a positive mindset and is a pleasure to have in class!
