Mrs. Laura Vazquez is the Cardinal Spotlight for the week. Mrs. Vazquez is the assistant principal secretary/attendance clerk at Matthey Middle School. Under her supervision, Matthey has increased its daily attendance during the last month and was recognized for having the best attendance for the week of October 12-16. Mrs. Vazquez has Cardinal PRIDE.
Jezreel Villalobos Cabrera
Jezreel is an 8th grader at Matthey Middle School. Jezreel is an outstanding student with an amazing work ethic. He is an active member of our J.L. Matthey Honors Band and is an honor roll student. He is an avid reader and enjoys reading fiction books. Jezreel is polite to everyone he meets, is helpful to his peers, and is an overall amazing young man.
