Southside Independent School District Superintendent Mr. Rolando Ramirez and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Fred Hayes honored the district’s eight principals today.
Principals were surprised with an edible fruit bouquet as part of National Principals Appreciation Month.
“In my 13 years as a principal, we have never been honored. Thank you so much,” said Freedom Elementary Principal Thomasina Montana.
Other principals expressed the same sentiment and gratitude.
Superintendent Ramirez said principals are key to helping our students with academic achievement and wanted to show his appreciation for the work they are doing during these trying times; especially now given the global pandemic.
