Nicholas Griffin-Garcia is in our Special Education department and works with teaching ELAR 6-8 in addition to coaching sports this upcoming academic year and will be entering his 2nd year at Losoya. Mr. Griffin-Garcia has made it a point to continue to hone his skills as a teacher throughout the spring as we entered remote learning. Students often find him to be helpful and welcoming. He also finds ways to assist others when help is needed and is a strong advocate for his students, which has helped him build relationships with the students and their families. Additionally, Mr. Griffin-Garcia always presents a positive attitude and takes great pride in the quality of work that he produces. Abcde Villareal 8th Grade
Abcde is currently in 8th Grade at Losoya MS. She participates in extracurricular activities, most notably sports such as volleyball. Abcde is actively engaged throughout the educational day and is always positive and optimistic in regards to her interactions with her teachers during remote learning. She is very helpful and prepared for each lesson which contributes to continued success in her classes. Abcde is very noticeable in her virtual classroom, she is willing to answer any question that is asked and ask for clarification when she is unsure of an answer. Abcde is a fantastic student who works very hard and chooses to be a leader within our in-person or virtual Losoya community
