Heather Thatcher is our Cardinal Spotlight for the week. Mrs. Thatcher is the campus social worker for the Matthey Middle School feeder pattern. She works tirelessly in ensuring that all our students and parents have access to community resources to ensure that all of their needs are met. Along with all the work that she does to ensure that our students are cared for and feel safe and supported Mrs. Thatcher has also been recognized by two programs (STAY Alert and Walmart). The Walmart grant will be used to purchase hygiene items, food, and coats for our students. She also received honorable mention with STAY Alert for her efforts in maintaining a safe environment at Matthey Middle School.
Sima Daniel will be an 8th grader at Matthey Middle School this year. She is an excellent student who is kind and courteous. Sima is an athlete who excels and always tries her best. Sima always makes it a point to greet everyone with a smile.
