Ms. Albarez can be found greeting every family, student, and staff member with a smile! During bus duty she checks in with students, gets them pumped up, and motivates them for their day. Every school wide event she dresses up in a variety of characters and does so with delight. She goes all out to participate! Ms. Albarez also shares her creativity to beautify the campus. When kids are gone and her day isn’t over, she can even be found helping file in the attendance office. Ms. Albarez is an asset to Menchaca!
Kayla is a sweet, friendly and kind student. At the beginning of the school year, she was very shy and did not speak much. As the weeks went by, she started to talk and make friends. Her participation in the classroom increased. She would stand in front of the class leading the Alphabet movement exercise and she read level reading books to her peer group. She was the student who read the most books in Raz-plus from my classroom. Kayla was very helpful with her friends. When Kayla finished her work, she would volunteer to help her classmates with their classwork. She is reading at a level D and E. In Math, she is doing wonderfully. Kayla participated in all School Events at Menchaca. She bloomed like a beautiful rose.
