Cardinal Academy Starts Monday, July 6, 2020
Parents/Guardians whose children are attending Cardinal Academy this Monday, July 6th make sure to have your students log in to their Gmail account or their Google classroom. Students an access these links by visiting the Summer Blast – Google Site listed on the Cardinal Academy web page.
· For Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade login by 9 a.m.
· For Students in 6th thru 8th grade login by 1 p.m.
All students should know what their login is. In case you have issues contact Minnie Rodriguez by e-mail or call (401) 236-7269. Please be patient, it may take some time before we can get back to you.

1st Day Instructions:
Open your Google classroom account. At your Google classroom, you should encounter a class that is pending for you to accept to join, once you have accepted the invite, you will have access to your Cardinal Academy Teacher/Class.
Additionally, Parents/Guardians in order for us to ensure a successful transition throughout our completely online Cardinal Academy, we would like to enlist your support in making sure our students are able to access the resources online by assisting them if necessary in particular during the first week of school.
Google Classroom Login/Password Info:
If it’s asking you for a class code, that likely means you’re logged in on a personal account and you need to switch to the school account. Check the drop-down menu and make sure you’re using the “@southsideisd.org” email address). Below I will have info on usernames and passwords.

Cardinal Academy Packet Participants
Cardinal Academy Packet Participants: Parents/Students who are participating via packet, the packet should arrive via mail to address requested in the coming week. We have communicated with the manufacturers and they will update us on the specific dates. If the packet does not arrive by July 13th, contact Minnie Rodriguez by e-mail and we will gather the necessary information. Also, be aware that students will have access to a specific Cardinal Academy Staff member to assist with questions during their conference hours which will be designated and communicated within the first week of the Cardinal Academy.
