T.J. Maxx donates another 10,000 bags

T.J. Maxx has donated another 10,000 bags to Southside ISD. The latest donation came after the retailer reached out to the District and made the offer. The latest donation happened May 4, and 5,000 bags will be used to provide food from the San Antonio Food Bank at the District’s Kym Rapier Food Pantry. The District’s Child Nutrition Department will use the other half bags to provide meals to our students. One of T.J. Maxx’s corporate pillars is helping communities in which it serves. Last month, T.J. Maxx donated 10,000 bags. Half went to Northside ISD and the other half came to Southside ISD to be used to distribute children’s meals.
