National search for new Superintendent

The Texas Association of School Boards has informed the Southside ISD Board of Managers that so far, 60 people have applied to be the new superintendent of schools at Southside ISD. The Board selected TASB to conduct the nationwide search. The new superintendent will replace retiring Superintendent Mark E. Eads. TASB says it will seek community input online and will survey the community. The deadline to apply for Southside ISD Superintendent is midnight February 5, 2020. The Board could announce its selection by mid-April.
